Maningi Youth Soccer Academy turned the Mufakose turf into a theatre of attacking brilliance, producing a scintillating display of football to dismantle LFDA 7–0 in the Under-16 Munhumutapa Challenge Cup in Triangle.

From the opening whistle, the Jerera-based outfit stamped their authority on the contest, knitting together slick passes, intelligent movement and waves of relentless attacks that left LFDA struggling to keep pace.

At the heart of Maningi’s dazzling performance was midfield maestro Tanaka Jetlinda Nyamakura, who pulled the strings with remarkable composure. Dictating the tempo and unlocking spaces with incisive distribution, Nyamakura was the creative engine behind Maningi’s relentless assault.

With Maningi camped deep in LFDA territory for long spells, the goals came in a devastating procession. The electric Salphina was simply unstoppable, racing into dangerous positions and helping herself to a well-deserved brace. Pretty, Diana, Prim, Makanaka and Shanty then joined the goal-scoring party, putting the finishing touches to a ruthless attacking exhibition.

The final whistle confirmed a resounding 7–0 away victory, a scoreline that reflected Maningi’s dominance and their ability to turn attractive possession football into devastating end product.
