In 2026, Maningi Youth Soccer Academy announced its biggest move since its founding: relocation from Harare to Zaka, Masvingo Province. The academy now calls Jerera Growth Point home, taking a decisive step toward a rural-centred development model.
The move is about giving a chance to the girl child in the province — especially Zaka, where there were no girls’ soccer clubs. The MYSA project name and core vision remain unchanged, but recruitment now deliberately focuses on identifying and nurturing rural talent.
MYSA confirmed participation in Division One for the 2026 season and appointed a new coaching team to lead the new setup. Within months, the Queens were making national noise in the Munhumutapa Cup.
